I actually really like these. I know I know, beige boring family sedan from boring old Honda. Saw one on the highway today with a little drop and some nice wheels and it looked great. I'd buy one of these over a Civic if I were shopping for a 90s era Honda sedan tbh.
Hell if one popped up locally for pennies, I'd probably go in on it.

It's a shame we never got the Accord Type-R, that'd be a fun car to toss around with children in the back!

I like the prior Gen Accords, they just seem a bit more "Sporty", with a shorter rear deck and more wedge stance.

These things are awesome! Except the transmission is sh*t.
Tavarish article here

saw a build thread of one on stanceworks. Very tasteful, threw on Acura TL wheels. Can't find any pictures right now though!!
I too love these

Oppo Confession: I think the current Accord Sport looks better than most other cars on the road at most price points.

I like the loaded up ones, like the bottom pic. EX trim, if I recall correctly. The V6 puts out decent power and will live forever. Transmissions are weak points, though.

The gf has one and I've driven it a lot. The 3.0 V6 engine is great but results in a lot of torque steer (power is anything but linear, thanks vtec), ride is incredibly good and handling is surprising given how cushy... The interior is chock full of cream leather and plastic wood grain but build quality is really good

Not as pretty or classy as the 2002, but it passes.

Let me show you my '99 Accord. Not a bad car at all.

Been secretly lusting after one ...

I would definitely consider getting one if I was attracted to cars that are reliable (everything I actually want requires a hefty 'Oh $hit' Fund).
My only issues are that I would require the manual, and I'd have to get a hole put in the roof (sunroof), and something to keep my ass warm (heated seats).
Ultimately, it's not well equipped enough for me (first world problem).

Stick for sure. I'd actually want cooled rather than heated seats, but I think I miss having 4 doors and a usable back seat more than anything. I hate having to take the Camry whenever there's more than 2 passengers.
Hate.
